Winter in Rimini
Winter brings with it a magical atmosphere: the seascape is bare and wild as you will never see it in summer. Strolling along the shoreline when the shroud of fog slowly lifts is a really unique experience. If you visit us just before Christmas you can also admire unusual nativity scenes sculpted from sand as you walk along the beach.
And there is so much to see! A trip to Borgo San Giuliano to see mural paintings inspired by Fellini, a visit to the recently inaugurated Domus del Chirurgo (The Surgeon’s House), with its mosaics from the first century, or perhaps some shopping in the shops and street markets in the centre of Rimini.
When darkness falls the city switches on its lights and the monuments become golden and silver. The evening presents visitors with the embarrassment of choice… dinner and then the cinema, a pub, a concert, the theatre? And tomorrow? Ask for advice at LaMorosa and we’ll help you discover the true Romagna.
I’ll let you in on a secret
“There’s a little restaurant in the historical centre called Brodo di Giuggiole. It’s managed by a young couple, Perla and Rossano. The food is great… fresh seafood, traditional soups and quality meat. All products are purchased daily, and this freshness makes a big difference. The dessert menu is not to be missed… Rossano is a fantastic confectioner”
